A short documentary that was produced for ILAN (Israel Association for Children With Disabilities) by the Israeli Film Service.
In dates, social life, and the job market: the influence polio has on the lives of those who suffer from it stretches far beyond the physical symptoms. In this short film, actor Mike Burstyn interviews young people with polio and asks them about the difficulties inflicted on them by the disease. Employers from various businesses, who also talk in the film, explain why they refrain from employing handicapped people.
