An explanatory film produced by the Israeli Film Service in collaboration with the Jewish Agency and the Ministry of Immigration and Absorption.
If the difficulties of the new immigrants resulting from the language gap, settling in a new place, and finding a new community around them are not enough, the immigrants need to find work in their new country. Not everyone is able to find the same job as they had before, so they take tailored courses in one of a variety of different professions and fields to receive training in a new profession. The film presents the process of language acquisition and retraining of new immigrants in Ministry of Labor courses.
