Kibbutz Kiryat Anavim is the fifth kibbutz founded in the country and the first kibbutz established in a mountainous area.
It was one of the founders of “Tanuvatenu” (which was later incorporated into “Tanuva”) and a record producer of milk in the 1920s. The kibbutz also served as a main base for the Haganah, the Palmach, and the IDF during the battle for Jerusalem in the War of Independence.
This film celebrates the 30th anniversary of the kibbutz’s founding and showcases its impressive achievements and dedicated community: people who, with courage and vision, managed to establish a pioneer settlement on barren land and pave the way for more settlers.
