Tishrei holidays across the country. Jews buy the four species at a market outside the Great Synagogue in Tel Aviv. Sukkot decorate balconies and backyards in Jerusalems Mea Shearim quarter. During the holiday, thousands of Jewish believers go on a pilgrimage to Mount Zion, and Jews from various descents dine in traditional sukkot. Kibbutzim members also replace the roof covered dining halls with a thatced sukkah. At the end of Sukkot, Jewish believers dance with Torah scrolls during the traditional Hakafot ritual on Simchat Torah.
