A film for archeology and ceramics enthusiasts, which reviews the history of pottery over various periods, from thousands of years ago among the peoples who lived in the Canaan region, to the present day in ceramic made by Israeli artists of the early 1970s. The film presents impressive archeological artifacts of Phoenician and Philistine origin which served as objects of worship, and pottery and jugs for daily use from various ancient periods. Ceramics continues to be relevant and significant nowadays, in the production of decorative and everyday objects, as well as in contemporary Israeli art, as evidenced in the works of Israeli female artists who sculpt in clay like Lidia Zavadsky, Gedula Ogen, Siona Shimshi, and others, whose works are exhibited in the film.
