An Israeli Film Service documentary about the Dalia Folk Dance Festival.
For the fifth and last time, kibbutz Dalia hosts thousands of dancers for a folk dancing festival. A tent encampment is pitched, and dance troupes of various ethnic groups sleep in it during the event. Druze, Circassian, Arab, and Jewish groups perform each its own traditional dances. Dances by the Ramat Gan Workers Council’s group and the Gonen group are also displayed. Apart from the dances, the participants also dine together (Yemenite Jews even slaughter a lamb!)
