The film The Future in the Sea, which was produced by the Israeli Film Service in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Transportation Department of Shipping and Ports, deals with Hebrew shipping and the possibility of learning a meaningful profession for the future. Announcer Yoram Arbel, combined with interviews of seafarers and students at the Naval Officers School, talks about the shipping profession and its importance in a country where the sea is also a border. Many of the students of the Naval Officers School begin their studies at the age of 14 in one of the schools scattered throughout the country and study the sea professions there, in the hope of acquiring a profession for the future and joining the Israeli Navy.
