A short film of the Moledet Newsreel collection, directed by Yerushalayim Segal and Natan Axelrod, captures the aftermath of the 1929 pogrom in Israel. The film documents scenes from Hartov, Beer Tuvia, Safed, Ein Zeitim, and Motza, focusing on ruins and burned buildings left in the wake of the violence. Hospital footage shows a nurse tending to the wounded, with close-up portraits of injured men, women, children, and the elderly. Additional scenes show Torah scrolls strewn on the ground, a man carefully attempting to roll and arrange them, and a pile of holy books. There are further close-ups of severe injuries, including amputated fingers and hands, and of two bodies. The film concludes with scenes of evacuated families sitting on the floor of a public space with their belongings, waiting, followed by footage of injured people and a large crowd leaving the Strauss Health Center.
