Residents of Tel Aviv buy vegetables at stalls on the streets, after the Ministry of Agriculture and Vegetables Council began executing its plan to establish farmers markets in city centers in order to cut out retail middlemen and reduce prices. As opposed to the regulated vegetable markets, haberdashery peddlers at the Polish Market on Allenby Street sell goods of unclear sources.
