Thousands of people gather in Lohamei HaGetaot kibbutz in the Western Galilee on the 10th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Museum items from the Holocaust, such as Yellow Badges, antisemitic newspapers, and footage from the ghettos and concentration camps are depicted. Afterward, videos documenting the arrival of the SS Exodus ship and the battle of Jerusalem in the Israeli War of Independence are shown. In Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, another assembly is held at the foot of Nathan Rapoports statue of Mordechai Anielewicz, and Secretary of the Kibbutz Artzi movement, Natan Peled, addresses the audience.
