After he was awarded a Nobel Prize in Literature in Stockholm, the Israeli writer Shmuel Yosef Agnon gives a lecture in a conference dedicated to him at Sorbonne University in Paris. At the end of his journey to Europe, Agnon returns to Israel and lands at Lod Airport. The writers family and Minister of Education and Culture Zalman Aran greet him on his arrival. From there, Agnon drives to a reception at Binyanei HaUma in Jerusalem. He receives a bouquet from Mayor Teddy Kollek and addresses the large audience.
