The shooting of Menachem Golans film Tuvia and his seven daughters comes to an end at the Herzliya Studios. The film is an adaptation of Sholem Aleichems novel Tevye the Dairyman, and the screenplay was written by Haim Hefer and Menachem Golan. The film set was built to resemble a Jewish village in Russia. The crew shoots a scene in which an actor drives a carriage with actresses dressed as bridesmaids in it. The actor Illy Gorlitzky takes one of them and walks toward his colleague, Shmuel Rodensky.
