An exhibition of works by 15th-century German artist Albrecht Dürer opens at the Israel Museum. The exhibition features sketches and engravings by Dürer, who is considered the greatest German Renaissance painter. The exhibition at the Israel Museum opens on the 500th anniversary of the artists birth, featuring 102 works, including 74 woodcuts, as well as sketches and copper cuts. Among them are the wooden print Adam and Eve (1504), and St Jerome in His Study (1514).
