Former Canadian Prime Minister Visits the Weizmann Institute of Science

Former Prime Minister of Canada Lester Pearson and his wife place a wreath on the grave of Chaim Weizmann, Israels first president, in Rehovot. Afterward, Pearson tours the Weizmann Institute of Science together with the institutes president, Meyer Weisgal, and its director-general, Amos de Shalit. The Protein Research Center is named after Pearson, and Weisgal and de Shalit award him an honorary membership degree by the institute.
