An exhibition of works by Jewish artists that perished in the Holocaust opens at the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion in Tel Aviv. The exhibitions opening ceremony is attended by the museums director Haim Gamzu and Speaker of the Knesset Kadish Luz. The exhibition features 215 works by 108 artists in the fields of painting, sculpture, and graphics. The works were gathered from private collections and museums in several countries. The curator of the exhibition is Paula Eichenbaum.
