Giora Godik, the producer of the musical Kazablan, and the songwriter Amos Ettinger come to a Tel Aviv District Court sitting on a copyright infringement lawsuit that the songwriter Dan Almagor filed against them. Almagor, who wrote 5 songs for the play, had a dispute with Godik and was replaced by Ettinger and Haim Hefer. After his successors rewrote the songs, Almagor accused them of merely reproducing what he himself wrote. At the end of the sitting, Judge Yosef Michael Lamm decides that the defendants should credit Almagor for two of the songs in the play – or rewrite them again.
