Female Officer Day is celebrated in Tel Aviv District Police to mark five years since the foundation of the Female Patrol Unit. The day starts with a military formation examined by District Commander Deputy Commissioner Yaacov Kaner and unit commander Chief Inspector Naomi Shadmi, founder of womens service in Israel Police. At the district headquarters, the female officers present an exhibition of their items: police caps, unit badges, but also underwear, jewelry, and paintings. The celebration ends in a party where the female officers preform a play, sing, and dance.
