A visit to Rosh HaNikra crossing and along the Israel-Lebanon border. Due to the increase in the frequency of terrorist attacks on its Israeli side, which culminated in the Avivim School Bus bombing that month, the tension along the border has risen. Prime Minister Golda Meir gives a speech at the Knesset in Jerusalem and declares that the border with Lebanon became a front in the War of Attrition. Meir finishes her speech by addressing Arab countries leaders about Israels willingness to negotiate with its neighbors for a peace agreement.
