What Israeli kid doesn't know soup powder? The fast-food culture of powdered soup and flakes has been to some of Israeli society just as much as citrus fruits and farm products. In this section, we see a display of the Assis factory in Ramat Gan, which in the days will become the Osem plant. As the state consolidated beyond its founding, the description of the Israeli industrial establishments turned to the expression of modernity and innovation of the new state, whether as an advertisement of products for residents or as a description of Israeli produce for export purposes. The diligence of factory workers gave way to the description of automatic industrial machines, as the labor-intensive housewife gave way to efficient and fast cooking.

The Assis factory front in Ramat Gan. Workers at production alongside machinery in the factory. A view of soup powder products. A woman prepares soup in a kitchen from soup powder, the soup is served to a child sitting at a table.
