The International WIZO assembly meeting gathers at Sokolov House in Tel Aviv, attended by representatives from 13 countries. Hannah Levin, chairwoman of WIZO Israel (who was the first woman in Israel elected as city mayor), declares at the meeting of her aim to enlist more members to the organization and increase it from 75,000 to 100,000 registered members. WIZO maintains 517 institutions across the country, including the Mother and Child Care Institute, which has the only premature birth ward in the country, youth clubs, womens training centers, and child care institutions, such as the Club for Children from difficult economical backgrounds which operates in Jaffa and appears in the footage. At the assembly meeting, Rebecca Sieff, the current WIZO President, announces her retirement due to health issues, alongside her is Raya Yaglom, the new WIZO Chairwoman, and the new elected WIZO President Rosa Ginossar, a legal expert who is considered to be the first woman lawyer to ever work in the country.
