The traditional Adloyada procession in Tel Aviv. A crowd of thousands stands on the roadsides and on balconies to watch the procession. The Oldest Watchman Abraham Shapira rides his horse heading the procession. Youth orchestras march and play music alongside big carnival puppets. Mayor Mordechai Namir and his wife Ora Namir watch the parade sitting on a stage. Among the various floats are statues of Don Quixote, Buddha and Prime Minister David Ben Gurion. Girls in various folk costumes sing and dance as the floats move advance.
