The film “WIZO – Around the Clock” is a promotional film for WIZO’s work in the fields of education, early childhood, relief, absorption of Aliyah and volunteering in times of emergency. The film reviews the network of day care centres that are spread throughout the country and cater to a variety of populations and the youth villages and boarding schools that provide professional education in the fields of agriculture, nature and the arts. WIZO is active in absorbing the mass immigration of the 1970’s from the USSR, and WIZO volunteers visit immigrant families from the Caucasus, WIZO helps war widows, bereaved mothers and soldiers injured during the Yom Kippur War by operating convalescent homes and rehabilitation and leisure activities. WIZO is active around the clock for 24 hours a day all year round and provides a response to anyone who needs it.
