A film by the Israel Central Office of Information (Israeli Film Service) about the United States Technical Assistance in Israel.
More than ten years after it began operating in Israel and after a 900 million dollars investment, the United States Operations Mission to Israel (USOM) concludes its actions and leaves the country. In honor of the occasion, the first chief of USOM Bruce McDaniel visits Israel to take a closer look at the aid’s achievements. This film documents McDaniel’s visit and emphasizes USOM’s contribution to the development of Israel in various fields: the food industry, agriculture, infrastructures, tourism, mining, and more. The film features interviews with USOM workers and Israelis who enjoyed vocational training abroad under the program.
