An excerpt from Life From the Dead Sea, a documentary produced by Merkaz Hahasbara and the Ministry of Development about the industry in the Dead Sea.
Laborers of the Dead Sea Works plant work in the evaporation ponds in the salty lake. The ponds help concentrate carnallite, a mineral from which, in turn, potash is separated.
