Excerpt from Rescue the Jews of Ethiopia initiated by the Office for the Absorption of Aliya and the Jewish Agency, documenting the Jewish community in Ethiopia during the years of Operation Moses. Mati Elias, a kibbutznik from Netzer Sireni who came to Israel about thirty years ago, is visiting his home village for the first time since he left as a teenager. Tells about his feelings as more Israeli than Ethiopian, visits his relatives who still live in the village, and photographs their lives.
