A film produced by the Information Center (Hasbara) to mark eighteen years of independence of the State of Israel. Using archival footage, the film reviews the development and achievements of the past eighteen years, starting with footage of soldiers during the War of Independence, the waves of immigration to Israel in the late 1940s with the arrival of Jewish immigrants from around the world to Haifa port, the establishment of the Ma’abarot, founding of factories and local industry, and establishing cultural institutions such as the Israel Museum and the Inbal Dance Theater, and more. The film concludes with the IDF parade held in Haifa in 1966 in the presence of Israeli President Zalman Shazar.
