An excerpt from Where Does the Water Flow?, a documentary produced by Prime Minister’s Office’s Minhal Ha’hasbare about Israel’s water diversion projects.
The Yarkon Negev pipeline, which diverts the Yarkon Rivers waters towards settlements in Israels south, is inaugurated in Rosh HaAyin. The ceremony is attended by President of Israel Yitzhak Ben Zvi, Prime Minister Moshe Sharett, Minister of Finance Levi Eshkol, and some 15 thousand spectators. At the end of a dance show, the president starts the pumping facility.
