A short explanatory film produced by the Israel Film Service for the Ministry of Agriculture.
To overcome the natural shortage of certain vegetables in the winter months, farmers in the Jordan Valley and the Arabah use advanced methods. The film presents the method of artificially introducing growth materials into the flower Gynoecium and thus growing agricultural crops such as eggplants or tomatoes in the winter.
