The film Zohar in the Galilee produced by Nehora, describing the Galilee and its historical sites related to the Jewish people. The narrator Chaim Yavin tells the stories of central rabbis of Judaism and Kabbalah buried in the area, among them Rabbi Akiva, Rabban Yochanan ben Zakkai, Rabbi Yosef ben Matityahu, Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi, Maimonides, Maran Yosef Karo, HaARI Hakadosh Isaac Luria, Rabbi Moshe Cordovero, Rabbi Yitzchak Abuhab, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, and Rabbi Meir Baal Hanes. The film shows various sites in Galilee that were central during the Geonim period, such as Safed, Meron and Tiberias. The film presents the main festivities which take place every year in Meron and Tiberias.
