The film Illustrated Haggadot, produced by the Israeli Film Service, deals with the issue of why the Passover Haggadah is the most decorated Jewish book, except for the Bible. The film features experts, including Professor Bezalel Narkis, Dr. David Cassuto, Jean David, and Naftali Bezem. They talk about the different styles of illustration that describe the period in which the Haggadahs were illustrated and the meaning of the paintings that remained the same among different Jewish communities worldwide.
