A documentary about the problems of absorbing young immigrants from Georgia in Israel during the 1970s. The film focuses on five teenagers, four of whom are outstanding students who were integrated into Israeli schools. One of the teens was forced to work as a construction worker, because the education system failed to integrate him. The film interviews the youths, their families and educators who work with them. The Ministry of Education is accused of creating a “Third Israel” following unsuccessful absorption. The interviewees also refer to the prejudices towards them that exist in Israeli society.
