A film produced by the Information Center (Hasbara) in collaboration with the Ministry of Post and the Philatelic Service, reviewing the stamp manufacturing process in Israel. Stamps of various kinds tell the story of Israel, whether exhibiting the flora and fauna of the past and present which are typical to the Land of Israel, or reveal chapters in modern history such as the Ha’apala illegal immigration to Mandatory Palestine, or exhibit portraits of historical figures such as Theodor Herzl and Henrietta Szold, all of these are marked on stamps produced by the Philatelic Service. The film depicts the process of creating a new stamp, from its first stage of drawing it on a large sketch, to printing it on stamp sheets, checking the color shades and getting a final approval by professionals. The film combines animation by Yoram and Alina Gross, along with color photography.
