An English-speaking informational film intended for an international audience, offering a historical overview of the Israeli-Arab conflict from an Israeli perspective, from the beginning of Jewish immigration to Eretz Yisrael in the late 19th century and through the British Mandate of Palestine, establishment of the state of Israel and the War of Independence, the security threats along Israel’s borders throughout the years, and following the Six-Day War, the Suez Crisis and the Yom Kippur War. The film reviews the international diplomatic efforts to promote negotiations between Israel and Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, which have not yielded to peace aggrements throughout the years, and concludes with the 1974 speech by Yasser Arafat at the United Nations General Assembly, where Arafat presents the issue of the Palestinian state in the international diplomatic arena.
