An episode of the childrens series One Zero to Avi, which was produced in the 1970s by the Ministry of Transport in collaboration with the National Council for the Prevention of Accidents. The series is based on the tradition of childrens companies, such as Hasamba or The Famous Five. The group at the center of the current series is working to increase road safety and prevent accidents. The group is led by the bespectacled Avi, who owns a talking parrot. Avi and his friends, all elementary school students, communicate with each other on walkietalkies which is the source for the series name.
In this episode, Tzipi (03) calls Avi from the pool: a man almost ran over her, but she managed to take his pictures. The group gathers and captures the perpetrator a teenager on a bicycle, and shows him slides of his criminal behavior. He ridicules them, but in the end agrees to a bike race, if he wins, he will get Avis bike, if he loses he will undertake to ride according to all safety rules.
the group is represented in the race by a small boy, which to everyones surprise wins the race (which is held with a Rolling Stones tune in the background).
later It is revealed that the group cheated, and was represented by a pair of identical twins. But Avi says: it is better for the boy to lose unfairly than to lose his life.
