“At all times, during all periods, Jews immigrate to Israel – and complain about it.” This film tries to point out the similarities between the difficulties of the new immigrants in the 70s and those of the early Zionist waves of immigration. People who had experienced the challenges of immigration to Israel – be it at the beginning of the 20th century or later, give a firsthand account of the challenges. Theatrical performances of works by Yaakov Orland, Nathan Alterman, Emanuel Harussi, Ephraim Kishon, TELEM (Transit Camps’ Theatre), and HaTarnegolim accompany the interviews.
