Thirty years after filming the movie “Orchestra” about the Beer Sheva Chamber Orchestra, director Eli Cohen returns to make another film about the ensemble, which is now facing the threat of closure. Budget cuts in 2003 have led to significant reductions in cultural funding. The new manager of the orchestra is compelled to continue the process initiated by his predecessors and lay off some of the long-serving musicians. The group of talented musicians, who have matured over the years, along with the young and skilled conductor, Yaron Traub, who recently joined them, are rallying in a unique struggle against the harsh decree and surprisingly achieving success.
