A short documentary produced by the Israel Film Service explores groundbreaking archaeological discoveries at various sites across Israel: the caves of rebellion- used during the Bar Kokhba revolt in the Lachish region, a 2,000-year-old boat unearthed on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, ancient agricultural methods in the Nabatean city of Avdat in the Negev, artifacts from the Philistine period in Ashkelon, the discovery of the Priestly Blessing inscribed on silver scrolls in the Ben Hinnom Valley in Jerusalem, two competing sites believed to be the location of Jesus’ crucifixion, and a burial cave from the Second Temple period found in the modern Rehavia neighborhood of Jerusalem.
