In June 1946, Kibbutz Yagur hosted the Conference of HaKibbutz HaMeuhad. This footage captures the hundreds of visitors who came to the event. Throughout the conference, attendees discussed the kibbutz affairs and denounced British policies opposing Jewish immigration. The film also documents Zivia Lubetkin’s speech, where she recounted the struggles of Polish Jews during the Holocaust, just a year after its end. Moreover, the video showcases conference participants examining exhibitions and various institutions in Yagur, mere days before British forces launched a comprehensive raid on the kibbutz during Operation Agatha, also known as “Black Sabbath.”
