An informational video by The Jewish Agency and United Jewish Appeal aiming to raise funds for their activities in Israel.
Immigration to the Land of Israel is an exciting and defining event for most of the new immigrants. The journey of 6 immigrant families is being observed, from the moment they arrive at the port of Haifa to their successful integration in the development town of Dimona.
What would be their difficulties and challenges, and which will be moments of satisfaction and joy?
The immigrants contribute to the blossoming of the wilderness and the transformation of the desert into a lively place. They receive a furnished apartment from the agency, learn Hebrew, find a job at the labor office, and after a while begin to feel at home.
immigrant integration is a difficult process, with challenging conditions, and above all – a different life from the one the immigrants had before. they will get all the support they need with the help of the Jewish Agency’s worker, who takes care of them personally and playes an important role.
Even the actual chairman of Keren Hayesod talks to the audience asking them to donate money to this important activity, to allow more immigrants to experience optimal integration, to establish more development towns, and thereby contribute to the success of the State of Israel.
