A short informative film produced by the Israeli Film Service to display the advantages of Israel’s public healthcare system, such as advanced technology and top-of-the-line equipment, quick responses from Magen David Adom and urgent care centers, and readily available treatments in various fields, among others. To illustrate the above, the film features three stories about patients aided by the Israeli healthcare system: David, a 55-year-old man who was hospitalized due to chest pains and underwent open heart surgery at Sheba Medical Center; Ruth, a woman who struggled to conceive and gave birth to a healthy baby, assisted by fertility treatments and IVF; and Fatima, a Bedouin woman residing in the Negev Desert, whose daughter has been taught by medical professionals to administer her dialysis treatment. Health Minister Yakov Tzur also makes an appearance to praise the achievements of the Israeli healthcare system, while maintaining the film’s central thesis that healthcare services in Israel “always have their finger on the pulse”.
