A fundraising film produced by the Jewish Community Council of Los Angeles and the United Jewish Welfare Fund.

The Jewish community in Los Angeles, similar to the young Jewish community in Israel, is growing with significant positive immigration from around the world, resulting in the growing needs of these communities. Hollywood star Joseph Cotten presents the story of these two communities through a conversation with Cameron Mitchell, who plays a Holocaust survivor and settler living near the dangerous border with Jordan. Mitchell tells him about the difficulties and dangers faced by the settlers in Israel and by Jews still living in Arab countries like Morocco and Tunisia, similar to the challenges faced by Jewish residents of Los Angeles who are forced to deal with a rapidly growing population – “Nobody runs away” and they do everything possible to ensure the safety of the community and the country. Cotten explains that the donations will benefit the Jewish community in Los Angeles and the United Jewish Appeal, which will allocate them to efforts for the immigration and survival in Israel.
