In 1996, three artists represented Israel at the Venice Biennale: Joshua Neustein, Uri Tzaig, and David Grossman. Each presented a work fundamentally different from the others. In this short film, Gadi Castel tours the Biennale gardens, documenting the three works in the Israeli pavilion, interviewing their artists, and reviewing other artworks sent by various countries to the prestigious international exhibition. Castel also explores the cultural events in the city outside the Biennale and documents the Jewish heritage of Venice.
