An episode from a series of short documentaries produced by the Israel Film Service.
A small area in central Jerusalem encompasses three different worlds: the Jerusalem police station, the Holy Trinity Cathedral, and the Mizrahi Kiosk. Despite their differences, an unexpected symbiosis exists among them: the church’s bells accompany the detainees’ daily routine at the station, reminding their families and their legal representatives that it’s time for a break at the kiosk. This film depicts 24 hours in the Russian Compound and the surrounding streets of the capital.
