Kushnir’s Guide to Vacationing in Israel, a road map for the family with a comedic emphasis, is a series produced by the Israel Film Service in 2002 under the direction of actor and comedian Avi Kushnir. Each episode is set in a different area and deals with nature, history, cuisine, culture, and even extreme activities for beginners.
Visiting the Golan Heights consists of a Geap tour in the wadis and walking in Nahal HaZachi; a home-made gourmet meal in Had-Ness, Mitzpe Gamla, a mythic antiquities, and eagles nesting site; a meat barbecue at the top of the plateau; accommodation in luxurious wooden cabins in Moshav Ramot, Hamat-Geder; hot springs, spa treatment, and crocodiles. At Emek Cowboy Farm, the visitors move herds of cattle from one meadow to another in the Wild West style.
