The film, produced by the Israel Film Service, is a part of a documentary series about the activities of the hostels managed by the Prisoner Rehabilitation Authority. The series presents the struggle of Yarik Mazariani, a new immigrant from Ukraine, who continuously uses drugs. After three months of rehabilitation at the rehab unit in Hadassah Ein Kerem, he arrives at the Beer Sheva Hostel in a move that should get him back on track. The hostel has therapeutic staff and instructors who support residents through rehabilitation, assist with job placement, and lead evening group and individual therapy sessions. The intensive treatments provide Yarik with tools to deal with pressures and thus preserve the rehabilitation process. In the third episode of the series, Yarik takes on the role of group leader while starting his studies, and he must learn to cope with the responsibility and also help the other hostel residents. At the same time, Yarik falls in love with Rita, and they start dating, even though it violates the hostel rules.
