In preparation for the departure of the British Army from Palestine with the expiration of the British Mandate, convoys of the British Army evacuate property and manpower in Jerusalem near King David Street. Arabs and Jews in Jerusalem prepare for the day after the British forces leave Palestine. At a training camp near Nablus, Fawzi al-Qawuqji, commander of the Arab Liberation Army, is seen commanding his soldiers and training them for the expected fighting. Soldiers of the Liberation Army train for combat, apparently this is the second Yarmuk battalion. Afterwards is depicted a convoy of trucks moving through the streets of Jerusalem with Jewish fighters on board, the convoy carries food supply for Jewish residents of Jerusalem, soldiers unload food from the trucks at a site which serves as food storage and supply in the city.
