Street scenes in Haifa as documented in the late 1930s. The clip begins with the Historic Clock House building, located at the intersection of Herzl and Bialik streets on Hadar HaCarmel district. On the ground floor is Cafe Snir, one of the pioneers of the ice cream industry in Israel. Further on Herzl street, the Ora Cinema building is seen, built in the International Style, where people stand in line to watch the film Happy Landing with film star Sonja Henie.
