The film follows the story of Jeannette Ordman, founder of the Bat-Dor dance company and school. Through interviews with dancers and choreographers who had worked with her (including Ohad Naharin, Ido Tadmor, and Naomi Perlov) and fascinating archival footage, viewers get an up close and personal look at the life of this trailblazing artist in the field of Israeli dance. Along the way, the film also explores her relationship with Baroness Bethsabée de Rothschild and the story of Israeli dance, as a whole, from the 1960s through to the 21st century.
