This short film was created by an entire class in the Film and Television Department at Tel Aviv University – 13 scenes, 13 directors, one film. From this collaborative work a cohesive group was born whose members continued to accompany one another afterwards and go on to create additional films together. Some of them have since continued to work in film and television, for example director and producer Yariv Mozer, producer Anat Shafranek, editor Yasmine Novak, and directors Lior Geller and Yuval Shperman.
At the heart of the story is a group of friends in their late 20s. They meet once a year to spend Shabbat together and remember their friend Eli, who passed away from an illness. The years change the members of the group; some fall in love, some betray, some strengthen their faith – they change, draw closer to themselves, and drift apart from one another. Over the course of Shabbat, demons from the past rise to the surface, and hidden secrets are revealed.
