At the end of the Six-Day War, Israel repatriates Palestinian refugees from Jordan to the cities of the West Bank. After Jordan initially refused to cooperate with Israel to not acknowledge its control over the area, the repatriation process begins under the auspices of the Red Cross. Many Palestinians cross Allenby Bridge on foot, carrying their luggage along. Michael Comay, Foreign Affairs Ministers diplomatic counselor, speaks to the press near the bridge and expresses hope for a future peace agreement with Jordan. A young Palestinian woman returning to Jenin gives an interview in English. Finally, the refugees load their luggage on trucks that drive them home.
